Responsibilities

As a Fluids Engineer, you are responsible for addressing technical challenges. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Working in a team on the conceptualization, development, and detailed planning of new facilities as part of "Green Steel Transition Projects" (decarbonization of iron and steel production)
  • Developing innovative piping concepts for complex technical challenges
  • Identifying potential technical issues in the development process and proactively devising solutions
  • Conducting comprehensive analyses to ensure functionality (assembly, operation, maintenance) and efficiency (CAPEX, OPEX) of designs
  • Collaborating closely with other departments to ensure technical requirements and specifications are met
  • Sharing expertise within the team and supporting the continuous improvement of design processes

Education

  • Completed technical education (HTL, university of applied sciences) and relevant professional experience (minimum of 5 years)

Knowledge

  • Piping design in plant engineering in 3D
  • Proficiency with design software tools
  • Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and EN13480)
  • Advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written
